What you’ll get over the 12 weeks of support
An initial hour consultation so that I can get to know you and understand your business and get a feel for where you need support
6 x 1h30 Zoom sessions at a mutually available time - where we will discuss what is important to you
Priority access to me for the whole 12-week period by FB messenger or Voxer (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm)
A bespoke action plan at the end of the 12-week period that you can take and implement in your business
Access to all of my masterclasses on various subjects close to your heart (& the recording afterwards too so that you can watch and rewatch!)
We can talk about anything that is impacting your business, such as:
finding new clients
marketing your languages business
setting up your languages business
dealing with particular problems in your languages business
chat through a new service for your business
sort out an action plan for your business
discuss any challenges you’ve come across in your business
What’s the investment?
The most important investment is time - you’ll need to clear an hour and a half every couple of weeks to spend with me on Zoom
Plus of course the time to carry out the action points we discuss

When will the meetings take place?
Subject to mutual availability, meetings will take place at a time that suits you

How long do the meetings last?
They last one and a half hours generally (the ignition meeting will last 1 hour)
Is this only for French teachers?
Oh no, not at all. Setting up a languages business is the same whatever the language you will be teaching. The challenges are the same, the highs (and the lows) are the same

A bit about me
Barbara Allen - Lingua Forme
I always liked French at school and after studying History at A level I realised that I'd also like to study Russian so I did a degree in Modern Languages and Political Studies, studying French and Russian. After university I worked in industry for a while and studied part time, doing an MA in French Area Studies which led to me living in France for a few years. I worked at the University of Metz and taught business English.
On my return to the UK I realised that I just loved teaching so I did a teaching qualification which qualified me to teach post 14 year olds - and I've never looked back.
Initially I started teaching for some local councils, but I didn’t love the paperwork and I didn’t love the Ofsted inspections. So I decided to work for myself and started my own business teaching French to adults and teens. I love teaching and I now teach 7 classes to around 70 learners.
A couple of years ago I set up Grab & Go with the aim of helping other languages teachers lighten the load of preparing their classes and also to help them set up and develop their own languages businesses.
